During my days at uni, I lived in a chequered blazer. I owned one in almost every colour. I still have a few of them, but for some reason I just grew out of them (not literally.. I went through a short grunge/messy period) & sold some of them on stalls/ebay. I think I've kept the best one's which is a relief, because I am crushing on them again now! This particular one I got from an Oxfam shop in Liverpool (on Bold Street.. they sell a lot of AMAZING vintage). It's perfect for daytime layering or an evening cover up.
My big fleecy coat is also another charity shop bargain & has been hidden away for a couple of years! So glad I got it back out before the weather gets too warm for me to wear it! Although I am very excited for sandals, floaty dresses & picnics, I'm also quite looking forward to the Autumn to be back so I can get back to my blazers, layers, & fluffy coats.

Liebster Award

I'm so happy to finally be getting around to doing this! I've been so so ill for the last week, I've had no choice but to temporarily put the blog on hold! If you are not familiar with the Liebster Award, it's a great little tool for new and up and coming bloggers to connect with one another (aimed at those with less than 200 twitter folowers).
I've had two nomintions, so will be answering both sets of questions (I'll try my hardest not to ramble on too much). Thank you to Adele from & Nadia from for my nominations.

1. Why did you start blogging?
I've always had this thing with clothes. I've been buying Vogue since I was 12, dreaming that I would one day become a big time fashion journalist. Lack of confidence & self doubt drove me away from this choice at university. Whilst I was at university I spent more time working on my tumblr (outfit inspo) page, than doing any actual university work.. I'd spend hours looking through sites on the internet, putting cute outfits together. After I'd finished university I was offered an internship in London, to be an assistant to a big time stylist.. I was madly in love though, and couldn't bare the thought of leaving Alex up in Preston whilst I was down in London. A few months later I found out I was 3 months pregnant with Norah. For her first year, I concentrated 100% on just being a mom.. I forgot I still had passions & interests away from Norah. So that's when the idea for the blog came about. It's the perfect way for me to work  on something I love and feel excited about.

2. What inspired your blog name?
Well.. Norah is going through a stage at the minute where she just likes to follow me around the house saying "ma ma ma ma ma ma" .. it's very cute .. so I guess I named the blog in honour of her.

3. What camera equipment do you use?
Canon  EOS compact system camera, here's the link..

4. Which blogs do you read regularly?
I have a huge girl crush on Pandora Sykes. I wish we were besties so I could share her wardrobe! She is definitely at the top of my blogger reading list..
Other than that, I follow a whole feed of blogs on Bloglovin, so read quite a few regularly, all fashion related.

5. What are your blogging goals for 2015?
I would love to spend more time blogging. At the minute I only work on it once Norah has gone to bed. So I'm limited to a few hours a day. I also don't have my photographer (Alex) available for shoots on a daily basis, so only really have a few posts to work on each week. I hope one day to work my way up to 1-2 posts daily.

6. What are your personal goals for 2015?
I'm going to let you in on a little secret here.. I am currently 8 weeks pregnant with baby No.2! So my goal is to get through the pregnancy with as much ease and glow as possible! That is proving to be rather difficult at the moment though, this first trimester is really taking it out of me!

7. Describe your perfect day
This is quite tough, because I think I could have lots of different perfect days.. But I do like to shop, so my perfect shopping day would be breakfast out somewhere; a nice latte & a croissant, with my sisters; and then maybe a mooch around a few charity shops. Then another coffee stop, before hitting the high street shops. After a day of shopping I come home to ogle my new purchases, and then spend an evening in with my two loves, snuggled on the sofa drinking cuppas and eating biscuits.

8. What is your favourite book?
For years I thought there could never be a book I loved more than Wuthering Heights, then I read The Song of Achilles, by Madeline Miller. I sobbed my heart out for the final 3 chapters. I've now read it 6 times & sob my heart out every single time.

9. Which country would you most like to visit?
I'm desperate to go to Italy. My parents are driving through Europe and around Italy this summer, I'm so jealous!

10. What do you want to be when you grow up?
I have no idea?! I've still not decided! Me & my sister have a vintage clothing website soon to be launched, so it would be nice for that to do quite well.

11. What are your plans for this weekend?
I'm going to have a little mooch around a few charity shops in the morning, and then a night in with Alex tomorrow night. Then a blog photoshoot on Sunday, followed by Imagination Street with Norah! :)

12. Who is your favourite fashion designer?
My favourite designer brand has always been Chloe. If I was a famous actress on the red carpet, Erdem would be my choice of dress almost everytime.

13. What would you describe your blogging "niche" as?
Personal style. I only really concentrate on outfit posts at the moment. I woud however, in the future, like to expand the blog & write reviews on things such as beauty and health products, maybe even some childrens products that I've used on Norah?

14. Autumn/Winter collections or Spring/Summer?
Always, always, alwayyyys Autumn/Winter.

15. What is your favouite item in your wardrobe?
A vintage 70's tapestry & cord jacket I got off eBay..

16. What is your dream job?
I think I'll always regret not choosing to do fashion journalism as a course at university. I love reading magazines & I would love to work on one.

17. Do you see fashion as an art form or a commercial product?
Sometimes, I buy things knowing full well I am never going to wear them, but simply to add to my collection, or to hang on show in my bedroom. So most definitely an art form.

18. Where do you find inspiration from the most?
This is a tough one. I love to read magazines, so obviously see things that I want to buy from those, but I don't really know what I'm looking for most of the time when I'm shopping. I buy alot of things from vintage and charity shops, so I just buy what I like when I see it.

19. What is your favourite city you've visited?
NEW YORRRRK. I'm obsessed.

20. If you could go to one place in the world, where would it be?
Norah's face at Disney World right now would melt my heart away.

21. What is your favourite blog post you've ever written?
My blog posts are never majorly in depth written pieces, but my favourite look so far I think has been the last post, with my fluffy pink coat.

22. What is your favourite form of social media?
Most definitely Instagram. I don't use Facebook, I occasionally tweet, & I'm slowly getting into Google+, but Instagram is like my morning, lunch time & evening paper!

Okay, so at this point I am supposed to nominate 11 bloggers with less than 200 Twitter followers.. unfortunately I don't know that many, & alot of people have already taken part, but there is one lovely lady who has not yet been nominated, a fellow "mama blogger" ... Carolyn from

Pink Sunday

This look is all about the coat. Such a stand out peice alone, there really is no need to add much more to it. I got it last year from Front Row Shop ( .. I've had a browse on there this morning and they have some beautiful beautiful things! If this colour is abit loud for you, they have some very similar styles in softer colours. An ombre effect black & grey one is now on my wishlist!

We went out to take these photo's yesterday, I just didn't get the chance to finish off the post last night.. Hence the title "Pink Sunday".

Enjoy xx

Nude Palette

For the Autumn/Winter months, the colour palette from cream to brown could fill my entire wardobe, with no other colours necessary. Except maybe a little black. I was gonna brave it & go bare legged with some nude boots, but then I remembered that goose pimpled legs aren't a good look.. & I found these snazzy H&M tights that had been hiding away, untouched for years! So I had to get them out and wear them.

Do you ever have those days where you really want to look & feel nice, but just don't have the energy to doll yourself up, or wear anything other than a baggy jumper & leggings? I do.. Maybe it's just the Mother in me. This cream shirt has been my saviour to that feeling this week. It's slouchy, but oh so stylish & pretty, and I can wack it on with almost anything. I think the buttons & the crochet detailing at the bottom, give the shirt enough decoration without the need to accessorize.. however the shirt is still neutral enough to add said accessories, when feeling in the mood to.
This is a vintage find, so this particular shirt won't be available to everybody, but there are plenty out there, & I encourage you all to go find and purchase a big slouchy white/cream shirt, as a wardobe ESSENTIAL.

Shirt: Waiste Vintage
Bag: TK Max
Boots: Vintage (charity shop.. for £1!!!)

I had so many options of things to wear with these dungarees this morning; top & shoe wise; they can be dressed up in so many different ways, and are perfect for any season. I've been told by my local H&M manager that they're releasing a white version!! Which I couldn't be more excited about. I'll be grabbing my pair ASAP! I've got a summer outfit planned for them already..
My boots have been worn so much this Autumn/Winter that the heels have totally worn down to the metal.. I desperately need to go get them re-healed so that they are ready for next Autumn! They're the kind of boots that make you feel sassy & stylish, in any outfit.. & they give you that little bit of extra height, but are the most comfortable boots you could ever wear. Marks & Spencer really are on point for footwear lately, especially for boots, and the prices are amazing too! These were an absolute steal.
